Christmas Chuckles!

Christmas parties tend to have a formula; dinner, drinks, and that slightly drunken comment you regret when you come back into work. Just to up the ante, HWC decided that this wasn’t quite enough and thought that it would be a good idea for the company to go to the local comedy club where Seann Walsh, winner of the Leicester Comedy Festival Comedian of the Year Award 2009, Joe Rowntree presenter of Brainiac Live and John Gordillo; the host and co-creator of the late night topical comedy The RDA, were performing.

After meeting up for a spot of food and a few drinks at the local pub, we finally managed to herd everyone in the general direction of the club where we found to our collective chagrin that somebody had thought it a good idea if HWC sat at the front and centre of the crowd; one big target just asking for it!

The inevitable ensued; from the get-go the compère zeroed in, from there it was a comedy massacre, as each and every one of us received a dressing down from the acts. HWC, being HWC, revelled in it and to the crowd's delight gave as good as we got!

A fantastic evening, and one that will be remembered!
